Got an ultrasound for a condition I have. Mary the nurse/ultrasound tech was amazing! She was so kind and explained everything through the process. She’s very personable and easy to connect with. The wait was short and the staff was kind. I have nothing but good things to say about Newman and their care.

I was out of town visiting with my parents when I had an emergency with my ICD implant device. I spent a day and a half in the hospital waiting for them to get everything confirmed with my doctors in Kansas City. I was very impressed with all the staff and how everyone went out of their way including the doctors and the attention I was given while I was there. I would definitely recommend. If there were one thing I had to say negatively it would be that my food wasn't exactly hot or very warm when I received it. Other than that I have no complaints.

My son had rhabdomyolysis. It was one of the worst cases ER doctor had ever seen. They were quick to take action and get blood work and start pumping him full IV the nurses ER doctors the nurses that admitted him to the hospital the doctors that came and seen him in the hospital was so kind filled with compassion in 6 days of my son being in this hospital there was not one nurse not one doctor that had an attitude just the best hospital I have ever been to I would recommend this hospital to anybody who was having any problem I could never thank them enough

Had a stress test scheduled. Was greeted and treated very friendly throughout the 3 hour process. From the check in desk to radiology all involved were helpful and concerned for my well being.

Took my son (7) to express care due to him having a headache and a tummy ache. Heather was the provider. She noticed he had low heart rate so we were immediately transferred to the ER for further evaluation and treatment. Everyone from lab, Kelli our nurse and the PA Andrew went above and beyond for my son. We are home now and he’s feeling better than before. Thanks to NRH for finding out what was wrong.

Dr. Jordan Willis got us in and MRI ordered promptly. Scheduling department was able to obtain prior authorization and we got in for the scan in less than a week! I know United Healthcare can be difficult to work with but they’ve got it figured out. We are from Manhattan, but will 110% continue care with Dr. Willis and Newman Regional.

I had a very pleasant experience at NRH. My appointment began right on time, and I was completely done and walking out within 20 minutes. Getting a mammogram can be a very uncomfortable or awkward experience, and I really appreciated the way the mammogram tech conducted the experience. She was very friendly, and made efforts to make sure I knew exactly what was happening and knew what to do. She was very kind and I appreciate the detail and effort she put into making my experience as comfortable as possible! I received my results later that day!
