Hi My name is Cinquetta Sharps. I arrived at the emergency a little after 10:00am. It is now 2:09pm. Finally, 1/2hr ago the nurse mention that there is no beds. This is my 2nd time coming to the emergency room and the waiting is horrible. I am so sorry that Elkins park was closed. This is the worst emergency room ever. I will never come to this emergency room again. It is a disgrace. When I came in, it was very few persons waiting. Now the room is packed. They are only doing triage and not taking any persons back to see the doctor. Again, I will never come to the emergency room. Rating is a 1. Some of the staffing was pleasant and others weren't.

Went with my 74 year old mother in an ambulance. She was having difficulty breathing and was complaining of chest and back pain. 3 hours later, they still had her sitting in the waiting room, which smelled like a urinal. The security guards and other employees had an attitude anytime someone would ask them a question. There were people in the waiting room saying that they had been there for 12 hours and still hadn’t been seen. It is a very good hospital, but the emergency room is horrendous!

Take a good look at this review page and you can see this is legit the WROST hospital in Philadelphia.

I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional medical setting in my 30years of life.

My mom came here in an ambulance, she fell pretty bad. Couldn’t move her arms and was in a lot of pain.

They basically did nothing, stuck her in an operating room alone for an hour without letting me back to see her.

Then when I finally get back there they don’t have any updates. I patiently waited because I understand this is an emergency room and people have more serious injuries than my mom. It’s just the simple fact that we got no update on what’s going on, if her spine is okay or anything.

It wasn’t until I threatened to see a case manager to get my mother transferred to a better hospital. Did they act with some urgency.

If you’re having a medical emergency, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT come to this hospital.

My parents were rushed to the hospital, even though the staff was ok but the emergency room was horrible! It was dirty and rundown. We are still dealing with covid but the ER is small. I don't understand how this is allowed to occur especially when the other Einstein hospitals have been redone and are spacious and clean. It's upsetting because I feel the hospital is treating afro Americans like dirt!! They don't even have a separate waiting room for families to grieve their loved ones. They have to stand outside in the cold. I truly was in tears seeing how we as a people are treated 😭.

As far as emergency room, don’t even bother coming here it’s so trash! So unprofessional from the time I signed in all the way to the back! This was the closest hospital to my incident and the people that work here made me feel like I was bothering them from my random inconvenience. I had to ask for a wheel chair & ask to get my wounds cleaned up. They didn’t even give me ibuprofen for my pain & I forget to ask for that too before leaving! Also, I had to ask to be wrapped up and they didn’t even give me Neosporin just dry wrapped my wounds & sent me out making me feel like I was asking for too much! This is definitely worst experience from a hospital in my entire life not even being dramatic just take the extra drive to another hospital and skip Temple too.

I've been here in the waiting room since January 24, 2025 at about 5:20pm. It is now January 25, 2025 at 3:51am, and I have not been seen by a physician. If I didn't think my health depended on it, I would have left hours ago.

Stayed here close to 8 hours with no luck. Nobody would pay any attention to me or my needs meanwhile I'm over here sitting with an internal bleeding. Also facing subjective racism. The staff, especially the security, are just pure ass.

This is the WORST emergency room and hospital ever in the United States of America it’s sickening. I never felt so unimportant in my 27 years of life.
